How Should an AI Trading Algorithm Look to Surpass Everything Created Before It?
There was a famous French artist and futurist Jean-Marc Côté who tried to imagine the world 100 years ahead. These are impressive works by a man who understood scientific trends quite well.
But even these works, if you look closely, entirely consist of things that had already been invented and only acquired some yet non-existent technical form.
Take for example control exclusively by wires or flights? That means there will be airplanes. The logic of scientific aspirations is correct, but to imagine exactly how it will look and especially how people will use these gadgets of the future is, of course, an absolutely incredible task.
For example, the classroom illustration. The understanding that digitization would win existed, but the image of a computer into which books are thrown like into a meat grinder and it produces analog signals is, of course, very far from the reality of what was eventually invented.
And I emphasize — this is still the view of a person who tried to think deeply about it.
The average person for a long time thought that the big machine of the future would be 1,000 horses in one powerful harness :)
And Here Begins the Most Interesting Part
When creating our AI, we essentially found ourselves in a similar situation, or rather, we are faced with something clearly completely different!
According to all known trading metrics — it is already “flying”. Quantitatively, in terms of accounts — it definitely works.
Take at least one account as an example. 2000 lots or 7000 lots, series with a win rate above 95%.
Randomly generating such series is physically impossible. Even opening a trillion accounts simultaneously would not be enough for at least one to show such a result (while all the others would go into a sextillion loss, of course). If we are even stricter — the probability of this is 10 to the power of 500, meaning several lifetimes of the universe would not be enough for such a result to appear by chance. And this means — the system really knows how to identify structure and see it.
What Other AIs Say
You can ask Grok or any other AI — are there AI systems that, deciding for themselves, trade on dozens of pairs of their own choice, at any time, in any direction they choose, and achieve accuracy above 95% on more than 10,000 lots for more than a year while remaining in profit?
ChatGPT and Grok (we asked) doubt it. They believe — there is no such thing. And after clarifying questions, all AIs say — this is an anomaly. Nothing like this has ever existed.
Moreover, clarify with them — not in the sense “is there anything like this publicly?” Not in the sense “maybe somewhere, perhaps” (maybe they play football on Mars and this is just speculation).
But really — direct links, examples — dozens of pairs, any direction, any time — the AI decides everything and such indicators — does anything like this exist elsewhere?
They will say what we already mentioned. It has not been encountered.
But IT DOES EXIST — and we are showing it on Forex Factory. Or does someone think we bribed the site owners? ))) (Let’s do without conspiracy theories, there are already more than enough of them in trading.)
The Main Thought
How should something that really generates profit look, but which definitely cannot be similar to what existed before it and never showed such vitality, reliability, and stability?
I really want to quote a famous character from the movie Tron — “the hint is: otherwise”.
Everyone must understand — almost everything has already been tried. Almost everything has already been tested and checked. Therefore, it MUST BE DIFFERENT and work somehow differently!
At the same time, of course, there must be logic. Moreover, the basic logic must be preserved — it must be profitable.
But how exactly this will be achieved…
Will we see what we have been searching for so many times before — linearity, or some kind of guarantee in hours, minutes, or days?
Or is it bound to have some familiar form, like the illustrations of the artist who genuinely believed that everything in the future should (and would) only work with wires?
And what is important to understand: even the greatest artist-researcher, while trying to imagine the future, did not foresee a single exact form or image — yet he conveyed the core idea with surprising accuracy.
Therefore, we — all of us who have only known the “wires” of the 21st century — should not assume that the future will look exactly like what we have already seen many times before.
Conclusion
Right now we, just like everyone who waited for “wires” but is now watching “flight” without wires, are forming our new intuition of how to use this.
It is this intuition that will be embedded in our series of indicators and advisors, which we have already started working on.
How to understand them and how not to lose while using them — we are testing on ourselves and so far, as probably everyone here already knows (there are no random guests here, right?) — everything is more than successful.
